I was at the Interlace party over the weekend to celebrate the TOP of the project which I invested in. This is the first time I have heard of a developer launching a TOP party and furthermore it’s a pretty grand celebration. Not only was there buffet, free flow drinks, mooncakes, lots of family activities, fire show, drum performances, lucky draw and more. They even had fireworks as a grand finale to the event!
The Whole TOP event was titled “Ignite @ Interlace”
If you do not know what the Interlace is, it’s one of the largest condo development by Capitaland. The architecture is one of a kind in Singapore, sort of like a honeycomb structure. Located along Alexandra Road, you can also see the interlocking blocks from the AYE. It’s definitely a landmark in Singapore and architecture marvel.
View of the swimming pool from the Sky Garden
Every block has access to a sky garden which serves as a private area for residents to enjoy, have picnics, drinks and so on while looking at the view. Located on a hilltop, it is very breezy and boasts great view of the surrounding area. The landscaping is fantastic with lots of greenery and water features.
View of the Gym
It has one of the largest gym I have ever seen in a condo! There are more than 20 sets of gym equipment, easily looking like a commercial gym. There are also many entertainment rooms like pool tables, movie theatres and so on.
Sunset view at the Interlace
Fireworks at the Interlace!
Overall, I am very impressed with the whole development and the effort put in by the team for a great party. I had a great time and can’t wait to see my actual units. I really enjoyed the performances especially the fire show, the colourful drummers and the beautiful voice of a singer who really set the mood for the whole place.
I guess all the owners must be feeling really good after the whole party. Even I for a moment felt that the Interlace became more than just a property investment. Of course after all the feel good stuff, it’s back to the numbers, rental yields, interest rates etc. etc. After all, it’s still an investment.
